Revenue Cycle Management Quality Assurance

Software Product Management

product roap map

I manage a quality assurance tool that audits the internal products within the R1 portfolio to assure accuracy and efficiency throughout the various lines of business in the organization. I built out a 12-month roadmap that focused on rapid expansion of the tool across the organization, as well as redesign in preparation to offer the tool externally.

Roadmap

ux redesign

Due to the speed in which the quality assurance tool was initially built, little effort was put into the user interface and user experience. In partnership with the UX designer, we redesigned the entire interface of the tool. In doing so, the tool went from 13 pages to 4, and decreased load times by 80%.

onboarding feature

In evaluating the amount of time it takes to onboard a line of business into the QA tool, and the amount of LOBs that needed to be onboarded, we determined it would be more efficient to build an onboarding feature that would allow the LOBs to onboard themselves. This feature would also enhance the tool for external offerings.
The addition of the onboarding feature reduced development work by 30% and has a projected savings of over $300K in 2022.

task value analysis

I created a task value analysis calculator used by all PMs in the org to aid in valuing new features and initiatives within a tool. The Product Management Org within R1 is relatively new and growing rapidly, so a universal tool did not exist within the team that easily and effectively valued new product features that impacted time related to task.
