Experience

Old World olive co. Marketing assistant / Product photography / social media Manager

June 2014 - Present

As a marketing assistant, I help develop different promotional events like our "Summer Selfie Contest," "Be Fresh Campaign" and "Customer Appreciation Day." I also aided in website details, weekly newsletters, and in-store displays.

Being the Social Media Manager requires being in charge of the Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter pages for the company.

As the company photographer, I take photos of the different products and store displays to use on the social media sites, newsletters, and varying promotional pieces.

Cornerstone University Marketing Intern

May 2015-July 2015

During my summer in Cornerstone University's Marketing Department I gained extensive knowledge on Market research, event planning, sales, and promoting to the target market.  I organized different events from start to finish- the university's 75th Anniversary event, and two different athletic donor dinners.

Student Government

As a member of Cornerstone University's Student Government I am given the opportunity to create events, solve problems, and work school marketing.  As a group we created a new event at Cornerstone called CU Serves.  It was a campus-wide service day for the city of Grand Rapids.  I got the opportunity to be in charge of internal and external marketing for the event.  I created a logo and some different promotional pieces on Adobe Photoshop.
